The day has finally arrived.....we're leaving to spend two wonderful weeks with the beautiful people of Uganda! After months and months of preparation and excited, we will be with our second family at God Cares.
We have an incredible team of students, alumni and staff traveling together and ready to experience the beauty and blessings of serving in Uganda.

Susi sent me a text at 2:58PM stating they were all on the plane safely and on time. I will be out till about 11:00pm so I will update you as soon as I get home if there is one.

got a call last night at 4:37 am-gracie sounded happy (kind of wired from no sleep) and safe. She was guessing they had about 10 hours until their next flight from London-i think i told her to grab a friend and curl up in a corner and sleep. took a little while to get back to sleep after that phone call!
